At this week’s member meet we welcome Airborne as our hosts as we speak with Managing Director, Joe Summers. Airborne help clients industrialise composites manufacturing by providing automation solutions. For early evaluators they provide design for automation, processing and trade-off studies as well as prototyping and manufacturing in thermosets and thermoplastics. For more mature clients, they provide the suit of Airborne automation cells including automated kitting, automated honeycomb potting, bespoke automation and more.
Joe will present an overview of the company, their work within the composites supply chain and the future of automation in composites manufacture.
